Where to stay in Waikiki ~ Maile Sky Court Hotel

We have stayed at the Maile Sky Court Hotel and found it nice, mind you the elevators run a little slow, and we did like the pool area. Strange, but after a lot of walking I like a dip in a hot tub, and the Maile Sky Court Hotel is one of the few I have ever found myself in.  Another strange thing, they have a pool table in their bar, yes I know, what? So? But sometimes, you would just like to play a little pool, have a drink and relax. Oh but I do have to warn you, this is no high end night club, it is a cute bar, that to be honest, most of you have in your own town back home, so bring quarters and play a little 9 ball.

Overall the Maile Sky Court Hotel was a nice, fun and clean place to stay, so if you are asking Where to stay in Waikiki, you could be looking for the Maile Sky Court Hotel.

Maile Sky Court Hotel General description:

  • The Maile Sky Court Hotel is a slender 44 floor, 596 room tower is fairly new for Waikiki since was originally built in 1984 (the average age of Waikiki Hotels is 38 years). It was operated under the same name from the start, first was an Outrigger, later on it became an Ohana (still under Outrigger) and now is managed by Castle Hotels and Resorts, all very well known and well established hotel companies in Hawaii and the Pacific.
  • The rooms are not big but they are adequate for 2 people. The common areas are spacious considering the hotel’s category, with a pool, a Jacuzzi and a pool bar.
  • The lobby is adequate with 2 different entrances and parking is plentiful, covered and secured but like all hotels in Waikiki, for a fee.

Free Wi-Fi high speed internet access is included for hotel guests in the lobby area and it is also available in the guest rooms for a nominal fee.
